In 2021, I released the EP Project Kalyug, and shortly after, I began working on a new LP project. The LP is a collaborative effort with a fun, maximalist approach, and a theme centered around video game references from the past.

However, I felt that something was off during the creative process. I couldn't fully love what I was creating because it didn't feel authentically me. It almost sounded like somebody else's music.

Determined to create something true to myself, I decided to embrace maximalism and produce music solely based on my instinct and what was happening in my mind. The result is a 14-track LP, with each track coming from a place of chaos or bliss, reflecting the different emotions I experienced during the creative process.

The LP features sounds and genres that have influenced me growing up, including industrial music, 90s Bollywood, and nu-metal. The project is a celebration of collaboration, with incredible artists coming on board to help bring the vision to life. The album features music in English, Hindi, Punjabi, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Bangla, and Spanish. What if Udit Narayan did a hard techno track? From adding in Amapiano elements from my hometown of Durban, South Africa, to the nu-metal I loved in the early 2000s, that I still listen to today. I didn’t have an idea
of what genre each track was going to tackle prior, everything just sort of
fell in place naturally.

The LP is a sonic representation of an Indian Masala film, with various sounds and genres melding together to create something wholly unique. I used to love gaming because it always helped me stay focused, and it felt like a theme I wanted to explore more with this LP.

I'm thrilled to share this LP with the world, and I hope it brings as much joy to listeners as it did to me in its creation.
